who are you?

imagine having the opportunity to re-introduce yourself to the world as 'who you are' not 'what you do.' we can define ourselves by the work we produce, the gatherings we host, the ideas we share, but who are we? when we're walking through the woods alone, or sitting by the stream just listening, who are we? how many of the people you know and love have a true sense of who you are? can you sit silently together at peace?

  1. There is no self to introduce. Each moment gives you the opportunity to create a self for the world. What else can we show to the world, but our actions, our words, our beliefs... but are these not all script from the characters we create?

How can our deepest sense of "I am", which has not particular qualities, introduce itself in one sentence?

    Namaste?

  2. well said and true. when asked at a party "who are you?" how do you respond? how can we shift our thinking to reflect these ideas?

for the purpose of the blog question i would answer "i am amanda, i am happy to be here, and i am growing and changing in every moment."
